Percolo construction system
Percolo Playwood (notched building blocks) are a new type of wooden game that combines a child's need to play and discover new things with old Norwegian building traditions.
Each building block has one or more notches that "lock" the blocks together. With Percolo you can build anything from houses and fortresses to helicopters and much, much more.
Mathematics
The building blocks are developed with 1 to 6 notches. The nothces on the blocks fit together mathematically. Two blocks with 3 notches makes 1 block with 6 notches.
In this way, mathematics is practiced on both a practical and theoretical level. This, in turn, helps a child's understanding of mathematics.

Percolo is made of environment-friendly untreated high quality birchwood.

Storage
Percolo Playwood is available in practical storage boxes containing 250 pieces.
MATHEMATICAL BOOKLETS
We have developed two storyline booklets which are called “The Viking Farm” and “The Loghouse Village”. They both have the mathematics as the leading subject and target pupils at age 6 – 13 years old.
In the storyline booklets Percolo Playwood is used as the practical mathematical tool that guides the teacher and children through different mathematical exercises.
